Mole Cricket Information

Chinch Bugs | Caterpillars | Mole Crickets

Mole Crickets damage turf-grass in several ways. They tunnel through the soil near the surface loosening it and uprooting the grass. This causes the root system of the grass to dry out eventually killing it. The mole cricket will also feed on the grasses root, causing thinning of the turf. Thinning turf will ultimately result in bare soil.
